Howdy, I'm Sam, and I love making cool stuff. More specifically, I love writing and building stories for games. And I’m damn good at it, too.
If you're reading this, you might be considering hiring me. Which is very kind of you. I'd like you to consider it a little more thoroughly, so here's some info:
I'm a writer, quest designer, and creative director. I built my own studio and made my own game, and I love working with other creative folks. I specialize in writing for RPGs, and my preferred genres are Fantasy and Cyberpunk, though I've got love for all of them. I have a lot of experience writing comedy, and a solid base in romance and drama. Though I think a great story has a little bit of all of that mixed together. Like a smoothie, or if you're more the savory type, a stir fry.
Ultimately, I like making characters that stick with players, building worlds that beckon, and writing dialogue that jumps off the page and smacks you. If that sounds like something you could use, check out the samples below and let’s chat.

Screenplay

The Bureau of Fantastical & Arcane Affairs
A whimsical, choice, and consequence-driven open-world first-person RPG filled with humor, and glued together with heartfelt moments of reflection. I have served as the lead quest designer and writer, as well as the game director, and whatever else the team needed me to step up to be. I wrote over 20 quests, 100 characters, and countless flavor text, marketing and world building docs. Under my guidance, the game has reached millions of players before launch and amassed over 30,000 wishlists on Steam.
