Hello, I'm Sam, and I know what it takes to tell great stories in games. My mission is to use what that knowledge to delight players with thrilling narratives, and to take your game's story to the next level.

I am a game writer and quest/game designer with a specialization in crafting compelling quests and branching narratives. I am also a strong collaborator, thrive at both giving and receiving constructive feedback, and an expert in fostering strong cross-departmental relationships. I am currently the Creative Director and Lead Writer/Quest Designer on the upcoming indie title: The Bureau of Fantastical and Arcane Affairs.

I believe that player-focused narratives in rich, deep, character-filled worlds are a major part of a successful game, and I want to find a home at a studio that shares this vision.

The Bureau of Fantastical & Arcane Affairs

A whimsical, choice, and consequence-driven open-world first-person RPG filled with humor, and glued together with heartfelt moments of reflection. I have served as the lead quest designer and writer, as well as the game director, and whatever else the team needed me to step up to be. I wrote over 20 quests, 100 characters, and countless flavor text, marketing and world building docs. Under my guidance, the game has reached millions of players before launch and amassed over 30,000 wishlists on Steam.
